Returns.
We pride ourselves in our workmanship and quality and know you will love your new item, but if you are unhappy in any way please read our returns policy below.
If your item has a fault or damage caused from manufacturing, under the Australian Consumer Law you are entitled to a replacement or refund.
Badges of Distinction is not required to offer a full refund or exchange on change of mind returns, or no longer required returns, if the products are damaged or defective upon arrival contact us immediately (Please see Damaged items below)
Each piece of timber is unique and with any natural product will have variations in grain and colour, each unique piece may contain small knots, veins or cracks which is normal and common in natural timber, and therefore acceptable as a quality piece, we cannot offer exchange or refund on claims of any variations in timber and timber colours.
If there is a misspelling or error in the configuration, inscription, or design due to a mistake by Badges of Distinction we will work with you to resolve the issue. If any mistake was made in spelling or configuration by the purchaser during the order process Badges of Distinction cannot be held responsible, but will work with you to resolve the issue.
We cannot offer a full refund on any of our custom made or personalised items, we do want you to be happy with your personalised badge of distinction item, but if you are unhappy in any way please contact us within 10 days of delivery and let us know any issues that you may have, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Badges of Distinction is not responsible for any damage caused by the consumer, scratches, dents, chips or marks are not covered by warranty once the item leaves our workshop.
RETURN POSTAGE COST :
Any item that has been agreed with Badges of Distinction to be returned must be returned within 30 days of contact with us, the purchaser must pay postage for the item to be returned unless otherwise agreed by Badges of Distinction.
DAMAGED ITEMS :
If you believe your item has been damaged during shipping we require that you contact us by email at gary@badgesofdistinction.com.au or call 0438 884 747 within 5 days of delivery and we will work with you quickly to resolve the issue.
CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES TO AN ORDER :
To cancel or change an order, please contact Badges of Distinction as soon as possible. if your order has not been put into production or shipped we will contact you and arrange for the changes to be made or cancel the order and issue a full refund.
